School Enterprise Challenge was a magnificent way of teaching students compassion and benevolence. It was also a wonderful opportunity for students to learn entrepreneurship skills. I congratulate-Teach A Man to Fish on coming out with such an innovative way of imparting education which goes beyond classrooms to the modern day students. I am also proud of my students and staff who worked hard to make it a success. I am happy that my students have decided to continue with their efforts as they feel the endeavor should be sustained.

I spent a great time working for NIRMAAN enterprises..... This made me consider Business as a career option. It was great working together with my friends, arranging the materials, selling and convincing people to buy our cloth bags....... The hard-work done by the ladies for making these cloth bags is highly appreciable, moreover they even got some MONEY that they could use to meet their demands..... I personally felt very proud as we worked for a project that contributed for the betterment of the environment... as using these cloth bags instead of the non-biodegradable poly-bags protects our environment from degradation.......This project also gave me an internal satisfaction too.I also felt how true Gandhi was when he said"BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE".......... Last but not the least, I would like to thank the teachers who guided us in this project as without them this project couldn't have been possible...

I am very grateful to my teachers who chose me to be a part of the Project Nirmaan which has proved out to be very beneficial for me. I got to learn a lot of things after doing this project. I understood various business techniques, accountancy and other such aspects. I got to know what are the basic essential things that we need to keep in mind whenever we start an enterprise or what are the basic qualities require to be an entrepreneur. I found this project very interesting and knowledgeable.

- I was very excited to know that I had been selected as a volunteer for the ‘School Enterprise Challenge’. Our school, St. Marks Sr. Sec. Public School Meera Bagh, New Delhi decided that we would work towards the upliftment of the financially weaker sections of the society especially women. We wanted to work both for people as well as the planet. Our school has been always working for the environment but this challenge gave us an opportunity to help women who had no EMPLOYMENT
opportunities and hence could not support the family. The finished bags were displayed during the PTMs and we were so very happy when all the bags got sold. What a feeling we had!!. There was a sense of satisfaction in everyone’s heart that we had done something good for the society . We were appreciated a lot .Not only the appreciation but we earned a lifetime experience of working as a team, coordinating and interacting with different people. The fact that we learnt all about running a business, earning profits, planning what to do next,reinvesting…..every aspect was so thrilling. The entire team is proud of being policy makers…that is the actual accomplishment for all of us.SUASHA GIRDHAR 9 DAs parents,we always feel that our children should learn compassion.Theluxuries of life has made most of the children not very sensitive towards someone who is less privileged. We are very glad to see that the school has taken up this initiative under the name of NIRMAN ENTERPRISES where the students have learned to serve their fellow mankind. Moreso, the exposure given by the school is very useful and a rich experience for the students. They have learnt the traits about business. In our opinion the best part of this programme was that the students were given complete responsibility of the work but this was only possible because of the well organized supervision by the teachers. We would like that this initiative continues in future but with added variety of the products.Mother of Suasha Girdhar
